Let us become saviours

We seem to be passing through the most tenuous period in the history of human civilization. The human brain has mastered the skills to set in motion forces of Nature that can devastate the traces of life from the earth. If life on earth is the only life in the universe, then the destruction of life from this earth could make the universe a dead show of huge clusters of fire moving through space. It is the joint responsibility of all of us to work to prevent such catastrophe. But how?

    Sir,

The solutions are Utopic. A solution it is, nonetheless. I always wondered why COUNTRIES were made. Still don’t know. If countries don’t exist, then we are only humans. If religions don’t exist, we are all children of “a supreme power”. The problem, I feel, is no one asks this question to herself which you have asked. Humanity is no one’s purpose. Macro-issue is totally ignored. Everything can change if our divisions are liquidated. But like I said….UTOPIC!!

Akash, Till about fifty years ago, those who thought seriously and independently and raised questions were only a handful. Now, everyone is a part of the collective thinking process. This has resulted in a sudden burst and made the world a boiling cauldron. Hopefully, things will stabilise in another half a century and what appears to be a utopia now may become a reality.
